Greg Fisher has been taken on as Chief Operating Officer of the Olympic Sailing body. This hiring was done by the national governing body for sailing in the country, US Sailing. Fisher is known to be a world renowned expert in sailing as well as a World Champion and a former collegiate All American. He has also finished his eighth season at College of Charleston, where he held the position of Director of Sailing.
Fisher would focus on building programs that would push sailors to high performance levels as well as to build a strong culture among the community. He would work on aligning the different areas of the organization that include education as well as youth initiatives; he would focus on delivering the strategies of US Sailing in order to build a more connected and cohesive environment.
